Wisbech St. Mary School is a Church of England Aided Primary School, which has served the local community for 145 years.   The school caters for pupils aged from four to eleven.   At present, there are 133 pupils. Technology is one of the vehicles being used to great effect to provide excellent levels of education.

Uptech Solution: Deploy wireless solution that allowed easy use and management.

Uptech deployed a Netgear WFS709TP smart wireless switch allowing central management of up to 16 wirelss access points. Using the planning tool we designed and tested a solution that would allow the laptop trolley to be taken and used anywhere in the school without the need to constantly connect the laptop to different access points.

We deployed the POE (power over ethernet) wireless access points in the relevant places going with POE allowed safe deployment as there is no power for the children to touch.

Using there new Laptops the school is now able to allow all pupils no matter when access to the schools systems without any management worry or security risk.
