The Essential Cybersecurity For Business Owners

For many business owners cybersecurity is complicated, seems expensive and needs lots of technical knowledge. But for a Managed IT Support companies like us, it is part and parcel of what we do.

We align our services with Cyber Essentials, the governments guidelines for securing business data. This is the UK version of NIST, which is from the US. Both work with GDPR and make sure that you are compliant. But for many business owners, being compliant, can cause them to roll their eyes to the back of their head. That word, Compliant, brings a number of thoughts like:

  • Expensive
  • Boring
  • Complicated
  • Difficult
  • lack of knowledge or expertise

Now, we can not promise lots of excitement from this guide (sorry this is not a Jason Bourne book), but we can say that this guide can help you secure your businesses data and money. This guide is not extensive, but coves the basics. Some of it will not be completely relevant, but it coves almost any size business.
