CAL has been successfully trading with Uptech for the best part of 12 years and I feel that over this period of time the businesses have grown very close together. During this period CAL has been lucky enough to have had experienced “meteoric” growth and the IT industry has also gone through significant evolution. Uptech’s strength has been in its ability to cope with these two significant factors and maintain a quality of service and sensible commercial approach throughout. Since the early days of our company Uptech has been our IT trusted partner; growing and adapting with us as we expanded our territories, acquired new customers and moved into multi-channel selling. Learning Resources has grown every year since 1996 partnering our US parent company as global leaders in educational toys and learning aids; throughout this period Uptech has been able to monitor our constantly changing IT requirements. As we plan to move our IT operation to ‘the cloud’ Uptech is alongside us giving guidance and support.
Uptech have been working alongside Reeve Wood for over 15 years and they’ve supported the growth of our company from a single server on-site to being cloud based, fully secured and with the latest security and back-up including CCTV. Uptech has helped us relocate twice and they have ensured a smooth transition on both occasions. When disaster struck and our systems needed to be restored, Uptech did so, resulting in no loss of data and minimal downtime. We feel the team at Uptech are an extension of our business. Uptech has supported Russen and Turner for over ten years with all our IT needs. During this time, we have developed a close working relationship this has meant Uptech know how we operate as a company so they can recommend the best option for us with regards to our systems. In March 2020, as all companies faced, we had to close our office and set people up working from home as quickly as possible, traditionally as a firm we have not encouraged home working so no one was set up at home for working. Shaun Hodgson Engineering Ltd have used Uptech as our IT Support for over 7 years.
During that time they have helped us to grow and develop our IT to enable our business to keep running on a day-to-day basis and also be able to provide the level of service to our customers.
Uptech’s service has always been outstanding, coming to site when required and making sure any downtime is kept to a minimum.

The change to new equipment has gone well and we are now operating more productively and safer against any attacks from cybercrime.

In the middle of all that I have felt what is like to be the client, and on the receiving end of what can only be described as the best level of customer service I have ever experienced, anywhere!
Upgrading my IT setup and support, I have joined with Uptech Ltd after several conversations and getting to know James Fowler over the last few weeks and months. What should have started a simple migration of one mailbox to a new 365 setup, became a marathon event! No email or Office account for several days, but I was never worried because the way I was kept informed and up to date with the progress was amazing!

In working with you, we have been able to prove that we take all of the correct steps to follow the government guidelines set out in Cyber Essentials and passed an external audit with flying colours. We’re delighted to have been able to move forward with the Government contracts we have been tendering for.
The team were extremely helpful and pulled out the stops to get the project sorted quickly and professionally, keeping me and my team updated all the way along.
James provided the knowledge and help, and Rachel the technical expertise to make sure we had no chance of failing.

We been with Uptech for Ad hoc support for nearly 10 years. The service was always brilliant, and they have held with everything from hardware to Office moves. When we called they always fixed the issue?
But in late 2020, we moved to a managed Service, initially their middle suite, to provide us with support and all the cyber security tools we needed, plus getting us Cyber Essential Certified. In going through the process, we also moved all our data to SharePoint and found ways to make this function smoothly with other software on our behalf. After about 8 months we have then moved to their top layer of support, as this means they can look after all our IT for us. The proactive nature means we do not have to contact them as much as before as they are fixing issues before we know about them.
The consultancy provided in this time has been exceptionally helpful and insightful, without being to techie or complicated.
We had been with our previous IT Support company for many years, however we were looking to change and received a recommendation for Uptech.
Speaking with James, we found a much more proactive support package that covers out IT needs. It was a bigger investment than we had previously made, but the information and help provided has already been a far better return on the investment.
When on boarding they moved us to the cloud, removing the need for a server. This was handled by the team in a professional and timely manner. They have kept us involved so we knew when things were happening. The service and people have been outstanding, always offering proactive advice and security tips.
