Microsoft Edge Sharpens Its Game with Streamlined Settings
Ever found yourself stuck in a maze of menus while trying to adjust a setting in Microsoft Edge? You’re not alone. But here’s some good news: Microsoft is giving Edge a much-needed makeover, making it easier than ever to fine-tune your browser just the way you like it.
What’s changing?
Microsoft is simplifying the Settings page, so you won’t have to sift through endless options to find what you’re after. A new quick access panel will sit right under the main Settings menu, offering shortcuts to the features you use most frequently.
In addition, settings will be neatly organised into smaller submenus like “System and Performance” and “Appearance,” so you can pinpoint exactly what you need without any hassle. And for even more convenience, these submenus will come with their own quick access shortcuts.
These enhancements aim to make Edge more competitive, even against the likes of Google Chrome, which has long been praised for its intuitive settings layout. If your team hasn’t made the switch to Edge yet, now’s the perfect time to reconsider—it’s about to get a whole lot easier to use.
The update is currently in testing, but should be rolling out soon. Once live, expect a smoother, more efficient browsing experience.
